Our wedding will take place on the oldest lake in Europe, the beautiful Lake Ohrid. Discover the places for our full three days of celebration below.
Day 1 – 11.09.2026

Get ready to savour the best of Macedonian cuisine and enjoy a spectacular view over Ohrid from the top of the mountain. Сheck out the photos on the left.
Utarna is a 20-minute drive by car from Inex Olgica Hotel. We will provide transportation (mini bus(es)) from Inex Olgica Hotel to Utarna and back. Details to follow.
If you decide to drive there yourself, while there is a road, please take into account that it’s quite a steep uphill ride on a winding road (full of serpentines). Parking is available on site.
Day 2 – 12.09.2026

A beautiful place right on the lakeshore of Ohrid. The wedding dinner will take place here. Ceremony – to be confirmed (we’re figuring out a few details, but it won’t be far from the hotel 🙂)
⏰ We want to have a slow morning on our wedding day, which also gives you some free time before the celebration begins.
Ohrid city centre is just 12 minutes away by car (taxis are easily available and quite cheap but often accept only cash payments, in Macedonian denars). We would definitely recommend checking out the old town with its small cobblestone streets, as well as the famous Church of Saint Jovan and Hagia Sofia. Watch out for the famous Ohrid pearls (made from the scales of a local fish found only in Lake Ohrid – the plashitsa).

Day 3 – 13.09.2026
All Aboard! B&B day

📍B&B = Boat 🛥️ & Brunch 🍢🥂
Departure will take place from Inex Olgica Hotel. We invite you to a farewell brunch on a boat just for us, which will take us from the hotel to the gem of Ohrid, Monastery of Saint Naum (about 1,120 years old), one of the most important places for Macedonians. You will have an hour to explore this beautiful place on your own, followed by our return by boat to Inex Olgica.
For those of you who may need to leave earlier and cannot take the boat back, please keep in mind that you can take a taxi from Saint Naum to Inex, which would take approximately 40–45 minutes.
